PASSE (Parents Advocating for Special Services in Education) RESOURCE EXPO

PASSE will present an amazing expo for parents with special needs children in West Orange and surrounding towns!  All are welcome to hear from representatives of local programs and facilities that accommodate, and even tailor their programs around children of varying physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.  Some of the programs include: basketball, hippotherapy/horseback riding, a religious school, music therapy, computer classes, to name but a few.  Please join us in finding out about many fun and beneficial opportunities for children pre-K through teen—and also, you can meet & say hello to Joe Krakoviak, Clare Silvestri and Jake Freivald!

The Sesquicentennial Speaker Series continues with Town Historian Joe Fagan hosting “Old West Orange,” a presentation of vintage photos & postcards, with many of the images illustrating old, but still recognizable, West Orange landmarks.  It promises to be as interesting & entertaining as previous programs in the series.

You can volunteer by training to help control the Canadian Geese population in town tonight 6:30pm in Council Chambers at Town Hall.   Everything you want to know about these animals and also how to spot their nests (for egg addling later) and stay safe.  West Orange welcomes diversity, but not these geese that belong elsewhere!
